Seasonal Tree Nursery Worker

About the job

Are you available from November through April and do you like working outdoors? Then this role as Tree Nursery Worker is for you. During this period, work at the tree nursery is all about lifting, moving and preparing trees for shipping. Together with your colleagues you make sure trees are ready for delivery to customers at home and abroad. No experience is needed. If you enjoy physical work, are not afraid of different weather conditions and like being part of a team that pulls together, we will teach you the rest. For your efforts you receive a gross monthly salary between € 2.450,- and € 3.100,- based on full-time hours.

What will you do?

• Lift trees for delivery to customers

• Get trees ready for transport by tying and packing them

• Move trees and shrubs within the nursery

• Tie up trees to promote healthy, straight growth

• Help with other work needed to get trees ready for transport

What we ask

• Holder of a category B driving licence

• You have a command of the Dutch and/or English language

• You enjoy working outdoors

• You are available from November through April

What we offer

• Salary between € 2.450,- and € 3.100,- gross per month

• Full-time role from November through April

• 38-hour working week

• Working hours from 07:45 to 16:30

• 30 vacation days based on full-time hours

• Travel allowance of € 0,23 per kilometre

• Overtime pay of 135%

• Saturday pay of 150%

• Pension scheme
