Do you enjoy working with machines, wood and large materials? As a Machine Operator on the day shift, you work in an experienced team on the production of industrial packaging. You operate various woodworking machines and make sure parts are produced accurately according to drawings and dimensions. This is a day shift position and the starting salary is € 15.46 to € 17.27 gross per hour.
This is what your day looks like:
Operating and setting up woodworking machines following work instructions
Working with, among others, CNC milling machines, saws, planers and cross-cut saws
Processing wood and sheet material for the production of industrial packaging
Checking that the supplied drawings and specifications are correct

Able to read technical drawings
Good command of Dutch and/or English
An affinity with wood

This is what you get:
Starting salary of € 15.46 to € 17.27 gross per hour
Employment terms according to the collective labour agreement for the wood processing industry (CAO Houtverwerkende Industrie)
A full-time position (39 hours per week) for the long term
Working hours Monday to Thursday from 7:30 to 16:30 and Friday until 15:30
Travel allowance from 10 km one way
25 holiday days and 10 ADV days (additional days off)
A renovated canteen where there is regularly something tasty, such as sausage rolls, cake or snacks.
The option to be paid weekly or every 4 weeks

About the employer
This family business from Brabant started more than 75 years ago and has been a specialist in designing and producing industrial packaging for years. They have their own engineering department and a test facility at one of their partners, so they can respond quickly to the wishes and needs of the customer. A modern computer-controlled CNC milling machine is used to process the wood. Thanks to the variety across departments, machines and tasks, no two working days are the same. About 50 people work there now, but it still has a close-knit, everyone-knows-everyone culture.
